Rep. Denny Heck (WA-10) has signed on to a bill that would index the federal minimum wage to the Consumer Price Index, just like Washington state’s minimum wage law. The bill, H.R. 1010, would also initially increase the federal minimum wage to $10.10 over two years before indexed increases begin.
